> Project Manager

Job Description & Top Duties 
  •  Fundraising & grants management. 
  •  Writing and developing project proposals for fundraising  and writing reports.
  • Devise and implement an editorial plan for our projects social network pages and grant-making web presence as part of an overall communication strategy.
  • Proficient at writing press releases and other necessary communication.
  • Coordinating the successful delivery of projets plans.
  • Leading project teams ensuring that projects are delivered to brief, on time and budget with the resources provided.
  • Building strong, proactive and beneficial relationships with key internal and external partners such as partnering institutions, museums, organisations and artists.
  • Preparing and monitoring  the activities.

Qualifications :

  • Relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • An ability to manage competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strong decision-making capability
  • An ability to build and develop effective working relationships with the Directors, Executives, staff, Senior Government Officials and Partners.
  • An ability to act professionally, maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
  • An ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-profile work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high level verbal and written communication.
  • An ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
  • An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Have knowledge of the local, national and international cultural/ media arts industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of design and production methodologies, budgeting, financial and performance management for exhibitions or other visual/performing arts products.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to resolve day-to-day operational issues. Capable of recognising priorities, able to mine the expertise and good will of people across the organisation and external to the organisation
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, audit and regulatory requirements, insurance and risk management

> Local Coordinator

Job Description & Top Duties 
  • Oversee the daily operations of Arab Media Lab, including academic-related events, special events, & facility operation, within the framework of AML’s activities plan.
  • Regularly coordination with social media content creator for  publishing online content in order to build an online presence for the programming through an increasing footprint on social media.
  • Nurture relationships with local initiatives & Media arts groups, Local government agencies, universities, the community, schools, the media, & arts organisations for collaboration & rental opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Office of Communications & Marketing to develop innovative & effective  communication & marketing strategies & to ensure all events are promoted & advertised in a timely manner.

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated management experience, including High level of network in  Marrakech City and National level.
  • High strategic planning skills with a budget management, equipment management.
  • Experience working in Cinema /Media Arts industry.
  • Experience in event planning preferred.
  • Experience developing both print, online, and social media content preferred.
  • Up-to-date in the use of emerging Media arts-related technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for Activities and events are expected. Evening and weekend availability is required.

> Social Media Content Creators

Job Description & Top Duties 
  •  Creating & posting social media content for the AML’s various social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Medium,  LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Creating and implementing social media planning for social media content.
  • Developing social media campaigns related to specific AML activities and goals (such as fundraising).
  • Monitoring & evaluating social media post performance.
  • Evaluating & adjusting social media strategy in accordance with the AML communications strategy.
  • Closely following Moroccan and international news and social media.
  • Actively driving engagement on social media.
  • Graphic design.
  • Websites management.

Qualifications :

  • 2-3 year of practical experience in cultural project management communication, social media content creation and social media management. 
  •  Fluent in spoken and written (including typing) of Arabic and English. French is an asset.
  • Experience with social media and online platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and WordPress.
  • Experience in writing, editing and creating creative and engaging content for arts and culture initiatives organizations, festivals’ communication channels. 
  • Ability to self-manage and communicate remotely.
